We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the Section 278/38 and Developments Team within Highway Services. As an integral part of the Highway Projects Group, you will have the opportunity to engage and influence partners, contactors and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes across a range of schemes, together with the wider team and Planning colleagues.
You will be proficient in terms of your knowledge and experience of highway design, legislation, guidance and best practice within Highways and Transportation (i.e. Manual for Streets 1 & 2, DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manuals) and you will need to combine your project and programme management skills across this varied and fast paced role.

You will also have a degree or HND/ HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering related subject or the ability to demonstrate through extended experience, the necessary knowledge to carry out the full range of duties
