Due to the retirement of the current post holder we are looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join our team who can maintain effective discipline throughout the school.

The School

We are an oversubscribed middle school in an attractive, semi-rural location in South Staffordshire with 460 students on roll. We take children from Y5 up to Y8 (aged 9-13) before they move up to Wolgarston High School.

The school is part of the Penk Valley Academy Trust along with 4 other schools based in the local area: St John’s (CE) First School, Marshbrook First School, Princefield First School, and Wolgarston High School.

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant school that is working towards our Level 3 accreditation to become a Visible Learning Associate school, based on the research of John Hattie.  This post is open to existing senior leaders in primary, secondary or middle schools.

Candidate Profile
