General Subjects Teacher - Full Time

Loxley Hall School are looking for an inspiring and imaginative teacher who is able to adapt their style of teaching to ensure that learning is fun, practical and creative. The successful candidate would need to be able to demonstrate they can meet the needs of secondary aged children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are a secondary residential school for 96 boys who have experienced rejection and in many cases exclusion from mainstream education.

The successful candidate may come from any phase (primary or secondary). While the successful applicant should be able to teach general subjects including Maths and English, an ability to work across both key stages and potentially deliver Aim Awards within the school’s alternative KS4 curriculum may be desirable. Teaching across key stages may be required depending on individual subject specialism.

It is a pre requisite that all interested candidates take the opportunity to visit the school prior to applying for the post. A guided tour of the school will be offered either individually or as part of a group.

Please note that references will be sought prior to interview and shortlisted candidates will be expected to teach a lesson on the day of interview.
