Teacher of English/Literacy – initially temporary contract for four terms.

Salary: £23720 - £39406 per annum

We wish to appoint an outstanding practitioner to teach English/Literacy in our 10 – 13 Middle School.

Bredon Hill Academy is a popular and oversubscribed school, awarded as ‘Outstanding’ in our last Ofsted inspection.

There are few better places to teach, flourish and develop as a practitioner.  We have delightful pupils who have a real thirst for learning.  Our staff are incredibly supportive of each other and are committed to working together to improve pupil outcomes.

The staff, governors and pupils are seeking an inspirational teacher who will continue to raise the standards of a very good department.

We are oversubscribed and work closely with feeder first schools and Prince Henry’s High School: an ‘outstanding’ academy and teaching school.

Please visit our website to get a flavour of the school or make an appointment to visit before applying.

Bredon Hill Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to recognise and share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and obtain medical clearance.

For an application pack relating to this post, please visit our school website (www.bredon.worcs.sch.uk).  You may also wish to support this with a letter of no more than two sides of A4.

Visits to the school are welcomed and can be arranged through

Mrs Norman in the school office.

Please send your electronic application to office@bredon.worcs.sch.uk but a scanned signature will be required.  Alternatively please post your application to:
