Period: 1 Year
Qualification: NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Due to a further increase in pupil numbers we have exciting and fulfilling opportunities for a number of Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships within our Outstanding all age Special School. Working as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will be part of a small class team supporting the class teacher and pupils on a daily basis. This will involve 1-1 support, group support and personal care duties. You will also assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring all pupils have the correct resources to enable them to participate fully.

• Allocated time to complete your NVQ assignments (up to 4 hours per week)
• A dedicated mentor who will provide support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship
• Training and personal development opportunities in addition to gaining your NVQ Level 2
• Use of the school gym before and after school
If you have Grade 4 GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent), love engaging with young people, are able to work using your own initiative, are passionate about improving the life chances of others and have a friendly and supportive personality then we would love to hear from you.
Work Pattern
Monday – Wednesday 8.30am – 5.30pm
Thursday 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday 8.30pm – 3.30pm 38 hours per week.
