Early Years – 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Fixed term contract
Mornings - 8.30am to 12.30pm
20 hours a week
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract end date: 19th July 2019 with a possibility of earlier
Thomas Russell Infants’ School is a partner academy in John Taylor MAT. Our governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working teaching assistant to join our school, working 1:1 with a child in Reception.
Applicants must have current experience of working in Early Years and understanding of children with special needs. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teacher and Co-Headteachers. We are looking to appoint someone who is committed to achieving high standards and will work closely with colleagues as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Annual salary - £17,391 pro rata for 20 hours a week
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Current experience of working in EYFS and with children with SEN
- A good team player who is confident to work collaboratively
- Passionate about supporting all pupils
- Ability to adapt work and planning
- Ability to use own initiative and be flexible
- The ability to work closely and effectively with parents
