We are looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to join Tillington Manor Primary School to support the teaching and learning of a child who has ADHD and other special educational needs. This position will be working 1:1 with a child in year 6.

Requires a minimum of level 2 child care qualification.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for children with SEND and who:

*Can empathise with children whose behaviour may be challenging
*Can provide firm boundaries and clear rules but is also capable of nuturing positive relationships
*Has a good knowledge and undertanding of how children learn.
*Has an understanding of the challenges faced by children with ADHD and a bank of strategies to support these
*Demonstrates initiative for working alone but also demonstrates good team player skills
*Has previous experience of working in a school with a child who has an identified Special Educational Need.

32.5 hours Grade 4
