We are seeking a skilled classroom practitioner and innovative leader to join our ambitious and committed PE department. This is a very good opportunity for you to impact at a departmental and whole school level through working as part of a strong team. Enthusiasm, a winning personality, and an imaginative approach to the delivery of the curriculum area are essential.
PE and Outdoor Education are significant strengths of our school. We are well resourced and offer a superb range of activities daily and throughout the year. The wide variety of after-school activities (Session 6) on offer are a unique and key feature of Idsall School.
We also offer a range of popular academic PE courses to students at both Key Stage 4 and 5. These include GCSE PE, BTEC First in Sport and BTEC National Sport.
Idsall School is a heavily oversubscribed 11-18 rural school with excellent facilities. Idsall was described by OFSTED (May 2017) as a good school where students achieve well and leave with results that are above the national average. All judgements were good.

Students are very well behaved and respond positively to our hard-working and highly committed staff. You will be joining the school at an exciting stage of its development.
