The Night Security Service provides and excellent service to its customers living in the City's high rise tower blocks providing security, safety and assurance.

You will be required to mange the effective operation of the CCTV, door entry system of the City's tower blocks and some adjoining properties and organize and manage site patrols.


Manage and supervise the Control Room Operatives and Mobile Patrol Officers.


You will gout on site to support the Mobile Patrol Officers and deal with any emergency situations working and liaising with the City's Partners and Out Of Hours Officers as well as carry out one to one meetings, appraisals, manage sickness and performance, respond to customer complaints and implement the City Council's Human Resources policies and procedures.

You will be required to work 36.50 hours per week, working a 12 hour rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
You must be able to drive and hold a clean driver's licence.
Wear a uniform provided by the City.

Have previous managerial or supervisory experience.
Have experience of working in the security/Control Room environment.
Have good organizational skills, have a flexible and professional working approach.
Have the ability to supervise, train and develop staff.
Interpret and access information and write clear and concise reports.
Have experience of dealing with difficult situations in a sensitive manner.
be computer literate and have a clear understanding of risk management and health and safety.
