The Housing Team at Lichfield District Council require a full time Tenancy Sustainment Officer on a 2 year fixed term contract (with an option to extend) to provide support to tenants under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. 

Working closely with the Housing Options Team, key responsibilities include delivering a comprehensive support package to vulnerable tenants to enable them to sustain a tenancy, developing housing options within the private rented accommodation sector and identifying, developing and fostering good working relationships with all agencies and organisations that are able to support clients sustain tenancies in Lichfield district.

You must be able to demonstrate awareness of housing issues affecting local government and the social and private rented housing sectors together with a good knowledge of services, benefits and support available to applicants experiencing housing problems.
