Warwick District Council has a big ambition to reduce rough sleeping in the district and to make a lasting difference to the lives of homeless people. We have opportunities to join the Housing Advice and Homeless Prevention Team in roles funded through the Warwick District Council’s Rough Sleeper Initiative.

If you are a passionate “can do” person, driven by the desire to make a difference and to act on the needs of vulnerable people, then we would like to hear from you!

Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and are flexible in your approach to work; you will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to providing support. 

It is essential that you are able to work to a rota which will include weekend and bank holiday working and preferably you will have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

The Hostel will operate on a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; adopting a holistic, multi-agency approach to helping our customers develop the necessary skills to maximise their chances of independent living.

We will consider all applicants including those who may not meet all of the essential criteria. Posts are currently offered as Fixed-Term contracts until March 2020 however they may be further extended or made permanent.
