Due to the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated leader from 1st September 2019.
RFPS was set up by the local Multi Academy Trust, Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow (LT2) and opened its doors in 2015 to our first Reception cohort. We are now in our 4th year of operation and have a thriving school serving the local community in Rugby and beyond.
We currently have 240 pupils in 12 classes from Reception to Year 3 in our modern, spacious building and will continue to grow by 60 pupils per year, until we reach our full capacity of 420 children. We work alongside Rugby Free Secondary School as part of LT2 and strive to offer the best possible education to Rugby children.
RFPS is a warm, caring and inclusive school community where every child is valued as an individual. The talented and dedicated staff team work together to make learning enjoyable and purposeful which enables our children to become confident, successful and responsible young people. Maintaining high staffing levels is really important to us and our teacher/pupil ratio of 1:20 for core subjects ensures that we can meet the academic, social and emotional needs of every child.
We are offering this opportunity to someone who is driven to make a positive difference to our school. We are an active member of our Trust and local consortium and are looking for a candidate who will help us to further develop these opportunities for growth. We are looking for an excellent primary teacher with proven leadership experience, a passion for improving teaching and learning and the ability to inspire others, to join our senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for leading and managing significant aspects of the school under the direction of the Headteacher.
This post will be non-class based with approximately 40% teaching commitment. This may change as our school and Trust continues to grow. Our ideal candidate will have a natural ambition and desire to consider new opportunities presented within school.
