Teaching Assistant 1
Salary: £7389 - £7839 per annum
Temporary contract until July 2019
19.5 hours per week (3 days per week )
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to work within our caring, compassionate school. The role would incorporate working with children in receipt of the pupil premium grant in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate would be expected to support children in English and Maths and social and emotional group interventions. Applicants are required to have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent and have recent experience of working with children. They must be able to work effectively as part of a team, have a good sense of humour and uphold our values, policies and procedures. The successful candidate would begin their role week beginning Monday 11th March or as soon as possible.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
