We are looking to appoint a permanent Midday Activity Assistant to enhance our current provision, to assist in all aspects supervising children over the lunchtime period. Including supervising the outdoor areas, leading games and activities with children and assisting the children and kitchen staff in the hall – wiping tables and clearing lunch time furniture.

Experience is desirable but not essential.

It is essential that the post holders will continue to add to the positive ethos of Oakhill, for the benefit of our children, by being willing to take part in the wider life of the school.

 You must:

  • have excellent inter-personal relationships in 1:1 situations
  • be committed to providing learning through play opportunities, under the supervision of the teacher in charge.
  • have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • have good communication skills at all levels
