Pastoral Support Assistant (C1334) - Permanent Position 37 hours per week. Term Time Only.
Hours of work - Mon-Thurs 8.30 am to 16.30 pm - Friday 8.30 am to 16.00 pm. To start a.s.a.p.
Actual Salary: £14,260 to £14,578 per annum
We require a positive member of staff to join the Emotional Support Unit. This post requires a person to carry out a number of roles throughout the day to support the academic, social and emotional needs of the students. This role will also include 1:1 and group interventions to support student’s emotional well-being
The successful person would support students to safely enter the school at 8.30 am and then supervise students on the playground. During the school day 8.50 am to 3.00 pm the person will work with students in a tutor group or in the Emotional Support Unit and follow through strategies, rewards and consequences.
After school this person would either support after school clubs or provide 1:1 tuition for Literacy and Numeracy. There may be occasions when this person would be involved in after school detentions and accompanying staff to transport students’ home.
