Are you an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of three years post qualification experience?
Have you a good working knowledge of commercial contract law and procurement law? It’s a background that will have enabled you to develop a sound understanding of local government and administrative law, and an appreciation of the challenges facing local authorities.

You will provide professional support and advice to various clients throughout the Council. You will be involved in a range of contract, procurement and funding agreements matters whilst providing advice on collaboration arrangements and state aid issues. You will provide practical and accurate commercial advice and guidance on the impact of relevant new legislation and case law, updating working policies and procedures as necessary under the direction of the Place Team Leader.
