The Bromsgrove and Redditch Parenting and Community Service is part of a strategy to improve support for families which include help when parents, children and young people need it.

The service is delivered through the Sure Start Children’s Centres and community venues with our aim being:

Relief Business Support Officer

Grade 3 (SCP 13 – 18), £17,391 - £18,870 per annum, pro rata if part time
(£9.01 - £9.78 per hour)
Various hours per week when required

The post holder will assist in the development and administration of general office and buildings running procedures. They will provide reception services (including telephone cover) at a designated base for all advertised opening hours. To also provide administrative support to the team, office base and partners as needed.

You will have extensive experience of dealing with the public and outside agencies and extensive experience in general office systems and providing administrative support to others.

You must have excellent communication skills (both verbal, electronic and written).

The post holder will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an IT qualification to support this.

A qualification in Customer Service and / or Administration is also desirable.
