Arts Development Officer
Grade 6 - £23,111 - £27,358 per annum
37 hours per week - Permanent

We are seeking high calibre, knowledgeable, positive, intuitive & progressive individual to work as part of a new team and within wider partnerships to transform the strategic development and delivery of Sports, Arts and Physical Activity Development Services across both Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Key areas of the post include:

• Developing, promoting and increasing participation and attendances within the arts
• Working with key council services to support the council work, acting as lead officer on community safety initiatives across the service
• Working with local arts organisations to increase community skills and knowledge
• Preparing and submitting external funding bids
• Supporting promotional campaigns with key partners to increase awareness of Arts and the wider benefits

You will contribute to a culture of innovation and evaluation within the development of new approaches to service delivery to ensure continuous improvement, value for money, the effective use of resources and that services are held in high regard by local residents.
