The Governors and Headteacher of St. Peter’s Catholic Primary school are going to appoint a wonderful and creative teacher to teach our Year 1/2 whilst their current teacher is away on Maternity Leave. We are offering this unique opportunity to somebody who is driven to make a positive difference to our school. St. Peter’s is a rapidly developing school and we are looking for someone that shares our ambitions and who is forward thinking. Fixed term contract for 12 months from start date

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will have vision to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment for our young learners. They will have high expectations for behaviour and provide a full range of activities across the curriculum so as to maintain the interest of each of our special children. They will have a good knowledge of the national curriculum. 
We will accept applications from candidates with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and any length of experience. We want our new teacher to develop their skills and expertise so that they can provide an outstanding educational experience for our children and we are willing to offer a wide range of development opportunities to the successful candidate. We believe in growing leaders of the future and would like to appoint someone that shares this growth mindset. We are a Catholic School and we believe in putting Christ at the centre of everything that we do. We would love to appoint a practising Catholic to this position, but we welcome applications from non-Catholics that are willing uphold and promote our distinctive Catholic values and ethos.
