Are you an inspirational leader with proven experience at senior management level with a housing and customer care focus?  Rugby Borough Council is on an exciting journey of continuously looking at innovative solutions to provide the optimum service to our customers, by putting them at the centre of what we do. 

The Purpose of the Housing Services Manager job is to support the Head of Communities and Homes to manage and deliver the Council’s Housing Management function and facilitate a customer first culture throughout the teams.  The post holder will take a lead role in delivering the day to day Housing Service including driving forward the operational performance and feeding into the strategic direction of the service.

As a member of the Communities & Homes Senior Management Team, a key part of the role is to provide leadership and support to the Housing Services Teams and work collectively with other; internal and external services to ensure the implementation of cross cutting and corporate initiatives, with a focus on housing.  Day to day the Housing Services Manager will develop, deliver and shape service delivery in line with legislative requirements, the Housing Strategy, Housing Business plan, Service Priorities and other corporate strategies that impact on housing customers and the Council’s housing stock.
