Teaching Assistant Vacancy x 2

Role: Teaching Assistant  (2 positions available)

Position: 16 hours per week – term time, mornings only, Monday-Friday

Salary: Grade 4 : £17,391 - £18,319 FTE pay award pending ( Note: salary will be pro- rata based on term time and working hours)

We are seeking to appoint 2 excellent teaching assistants  to join our dedicated, energetic and caring team in our Nursery Class at Seabridge Primary School, which is one of the family of schools within Shaw Education Trust.

The positions will all be class-based, with an expectation to work under the direction of the class teachers. We are looking for experienced, Early Years Educators with current early years experience working within a day care setting, and experience of managing a key group of children - this includes managing children's learning journey's and fulfilling the role and responsibility of a key person. Candidates must be positive individuals who are keen to improve children's outcomes and are skilled to work as a flexible team member with other Early Years Educators to help to nurture and support learning and development as the children begin their journey through school.

Suitable candidates will be organised, highly motivated and have high expectations for the children. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written are essential. The successful candidate will join the school at an exciting time as we continue to develop strong partnerships across local primary, secondary and special schools.

  • have appropriate early years qualifications who have at least 2 years experience in an early years setting as a key worker.
