Could you turn your hand to anything a busy heritage visitor attraction might need?
Sandwell Museums are looking for enthusiastic Visitor Services Assistants to deliver a high standard of customer care and public service to visitors of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
The post holder would join our busy creative front of house team delivering exciting activities for all ages, tours, information, experiences etc to visitors and users as well as providing reception duties, cleaning, moving furniture and supporting admin tasks.
Sandwell Council will pay all of its employees the current Living Wage rate, as a minimum, from 1 April 2018. The decision to pay a Living Wage supplement will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Hours available:
Haden Hill House – Permanent - 25 hours - The post holder would work to a flexible rota Tuesday to Friday to include when the museum is open as well as regular weekends and some bank holidays and evenings
The Manor House – Fixed term until September 2019 - 25 hours – The post holder would work to a flexible rota to include when the museum is open as well as regular weekends and some bank holidays and evenings
Salary:
Pre April 2019 – Band B, SCP 9 – 13 (£16,755 - £17,391) pro rota (£8.68 - £9.01 per hour)
From April 2019 – Band B, SCP 2 – 4 (17,711 - £18,426) pro rota (£9.18 - £9.55 per hour)
