Rugby Free Primary School is a new 4-11 school which opened in September 2015 with three Reception classes in a newly refurbished state of the art building in Central Park. We welcome children of all abilities and from all backgrounds. We are non-selective, non-denominational and are free for all to attend. We provide a high quality local school with an exciting curriculum and extended enrichment opportunities for our children.

Each year our school will increase by one year group thus providing additional opportunities for promotion of staff, movement within year groups.

We are looking to extend our team of professionals who bring interest, ideas and enthusiasm to match that of the Trust, Governors and the current Staff.

We are currently looking for 3 additional qualified teachers to join our staff team.

These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work in a team of three in either Year 1, 2, 3 or 4. Our classes are capped at 20 pupils per teacher for the core subjects of English and Maths in the mornings and move to a house group model for afternoon sessions of 30 pupils per teacher. This allows the spare teacher to cover PPA, interventions and leadership time.

As an experienced teacher, you will be able to demonstrate a record of excellent practice in the classroom, commitment to CPD and coaching others and innovative curriculum ideas.

As an NQT, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to your professional development and recognise this exciting opportunity which will provide a solid foundation for your career. You will be ambitious, enthusiastic and eager to embrace the opportunities that a new school in a growing Trust can offer.

You will be supported by a senior leadership team who have the highest ambitions for the school, its children and its staff. We will support the successful candidate in their professional development and progression will be fully supported and nurtured.

We encourage candidates to state their individual interests in their application noting areas of the curriculum they would be interested in leading.  As our school is still growing, we have the flexibility to adapt roles to suit the perfect candidate.

To arrange an informal discussion with the Headteacher/member of SLT and a tour of our school, please email office@rugbyfreeprimary.co.uk and we will be delighted to arrange this.

To apply, please download the job description and person specification here. Completed applications should be sent to office@rugbyfreeprimary.co.uk for the attention of Mrs Suzanna Phillimore (Finance and Admin Manager).

Closing date for applications: 7th March 2019.

Shortlisting: 8th March 2019.

Interviews: 18th & 19th March 2019.

NOR: 240 Sept 2018, reaching 420 by Sept 2021.

RFPS is committed to safeguarding children; successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and will be required to disclose all relevant information for appropriate safeguarding checks.
