Salary: £39965 - £44106 per annum

The governors at Whittington Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to work with a dedicated staff team who are intent on improving teaching and learning for all pupils. The successful candidate will become part of the leadership team and be responsible for key stage 2 pupils and staff, they will also lead improvements in English.

We are looking for an excellent class teacher who can demonstrate how their well-structured teaching together with their assessment and feedback has had a marked impact on all learners in their class, ensuring excellent progress for all.

The candidate also needs experience of subject leadership and the ability to demonstrate how their work has improved standards in their subject through developing staff, improving the curriculum which is delivered and auditing for improvement.

As a Church of England Primary School the candidate also needs to demonstrate values which support us as a faith school.
