HR Contract Monitoring Officer – Ref: RT43618
£31,914 - £36,740 per annum
THIS IS AN INTERNAL VACANCY OPEN TO EXISTING WALSALL COUNCIL EMPLOYEES ONLY
We are seeking a talented individual with an understanding of complex procurement projects and contract management legislation to take a lead role in the procurement process under Human Resources remit with particular emphasis on the HR workforce systems – including agency contracting and a range of health and wellbeing contracts, for example occupational health.
The successful candidate will ensure that all procurement and contract monitoring is auditable and regularly reviewed to ensure that the contracted services are of high quality and provide value for money.
The ability to lead on procurement of HR contracts is essential along with the ability to negotiate, influence and interact with people at all levels. Experience and knowledge of procurement legislation is crucial.
