The Board of Directors wish to appoint 2 Family Support Workers to support the 0-19 Family Support Programme in 4 districts of Staffordshire.  Our vision is to make Early Help available at the earliest point, improving children and young people’s life chances and reducing demand for specialist/crisis services. Our offer includes a range of evidence-based practice and tools including Parenting Programmes, Outcome Star, Early Help Assessments etc. to ensure that we respond effectively to the needs and the demands of children and secure sustainable change. 

The ability to engage and communicate with Schools, Statutory services, Community Groups, Families and Children is essential in achieving positive outcomes for families.

The organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will hold a NVQ Level 3 or higher and will work alongside the Senior Family Support Workers and peers to support families and children living in a number of districts in the Staffordshire County. 

This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form

This is a 12 month fixed term contract working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
