Do you have good communication and organisational skills and can interface with officers and managers at all levels?

Walsall Council is looking to appoint a Schools Assurance Officer for our schools traded DPO service. In this key role, you will work closely with the Data Protection Manager in supporting the provision of excellent information and advice, monitoring compliance requirements regarding GDPR and Data Protection Legislation in particular, and support the Information Governance Team, other members of staff and third parties.

As part of our ongoing commitment to make Walsall Council an excellent employer, we offer a range of employee benefits to suit individual lifestyles such as flexible working, generous holiday entitlement, training and development, employee assistance programmes and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.  Most importantly, working for Walsall Council gives you the opportunity to make a real difference to better the lives of the people we serve – the residents and organisations of this diverse Borough.

Make no mistake, the role is challenging but varied and you will be supported by a committed and talented workforce.  If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply now to earn your place working for this exciting organisation.
