Job Details

The Quality in Care Team is responsible for undertaking residential and nursing care reviews throughout Warwickshire. We also complete assessments for individuals who are self funding or Continuing Health Care funded in residential or nursing care and their circumstances have changed. We’re looking for a social worker to join our small, friendly team, helping us to develop our strength based approach with customers. Our primary office base is Saltisford Warwick, but you will be required to cover reviews and assessments anywhere within the county. 

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

The salary is dependent on experience, we are looking to recruit Level 2 or Level 3 Social Worker. 

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced Social Worker to support our team in delivering good quality outcomes for customers in residential and nursing homes across Warwickshire. Primarily our customers are over 65, however we also undertake some project work with other specialist teams. The role will primarily focus on undertaking assessments for customers who are no longer funded by Continuing Health Care or by other means. You will be working closely with internal and external partners, therefore excellent communication and negotiation skills is essential.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role you’ll need a professional Social Work qualification and have current Health and Care Professions Council registration. As you’ll be managing a variety of relationships for our customers with internal and external stakeholders, it’s important you have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. It is important that you can work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, communities, colleagues and other agencies. You will be confident arranging and coordinating review and assessment meetings with a variety of participants.

You will be able to work to tight deadlines, with competing priorities. You will need to be confident in working remotely and using mobile technology.
