We are currently recruiting for;

Civil Enforcement Officer

To patrol and inspect the Council’s car parks, taking enforcement action, and assist members of the public on general enquiries.

key requirements;

Inspect and ensure car parks are clean and safe for use; report any defects to management.

Check and test car park equipment each day, carrying out minor repairs.

Patrol car parks, providing customer care services by advising and assisting members of the public on general enquiries.

To inspect each vehicle, issue Penalty Charge Notices using the appropriate technology provided, where the Traffic Regulation Orders have been contravened.

Operate the retail radio link in conjunction with the Police, retailers and the CCTV Team.

Essential skills and Experience needed

Previous work in a service-based organisation in contact with the general public.

Experience in dealing with the public tactfully and sympathetically under stressful conditions.

Ability to use technology associated with the job.

Able to communicate orally and in writing clearly and concisely.

Ability to patrol multi-storey and surface car parks.

Possession of a full driving licence.
