Outreach Worker – 37hrs per week
Grade 5 + 2 for weekend working

Cannock Resource Centre, Bridgtown, Cannock
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to work as an Outreach Workers at one of our Resource Centres offering short term breaks for young people with learning disabilities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience of working with children & young people within this sphere to gain specialist experience of working specifically with children with a wide variety of needs.
The Outreach Worker as part of a multidisciplinary team will offer a range of services including support and care for children and young people with learning disabilities. Whilst ensuring that the young persons social, emotional, cultural, religious and recreational needs are met.
The post involves shift working, and weekends. Experience of working in a residential setting is desirable and you must have a NVQ or QCF level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or be prepared to undertake training.
