Coventry is a city on the rise, this can be seen through all of the development and investment going into the city. This promise and development has been recognised internationally when we were proudly awarded European City of Culture for 2021.

Coventry City Council is one of the largest landlords across Coventry and has a highly successful, mixed-use portfolio.  We are looking to recruit a Senior Valuation Surveyor to assist us in its management whilst ensuring that it develops with the changing times and remains competitive.

Your Role

You will be working within a surveying team comprised of many different specialisms. You will also have the support of a designated property manager and be able to draw on in-house specialist legal and financial advice as well as a dedicated administrative function.

You will be required to apply differing surveying and valuation practices in accordance with professional standards and the Council’s own policies and procedures. It will also be expected that you will be involved in the support and development of less experienced members of the team and contribute towards discussion regarding change and ensuring that as a team we remain agile, effective and adapt to the changing times and market.

Your background

As a successful candidate, you must be RICS qualified, have good working knowledge of both property valuations and property management to include Landlord and Tenant negotiations.
