Primary School Teacher with Special Needs Experience  

Full time permanent contract: start September 2019

Contract: Full-time hours, permanent contract

Salary - commensurate with experience +SEN allowance - £25869 - £41555 per annum

LHPSN is a thriving school in the semi -rural location of Bromsgrove.

We are looking to recruit a full time teacher for our specialist language base class. This is an excellent opportunity for a mainstream primary school teacher with knowledge and experience of SEND to work with our small base class in partnership with their mainstream year group teachers.

We actively welcome interest from talented, dynamic teachers looking to develop your career alongside our strong teaching team.This would suit a SENDCo or an aspiring leader with SEND specialism.

You will be joining a school of carefully nurtured staff who give high priority to developing pupils’ well-being and happiness as well as their academic success. (Ofsted; December 2018)

 

The ideal candidate will:

Have a strong academic background and a good degree

Knowledge and experience of the SEND Code of Practice

Share the school vision and be strongly aligned with the school values
Have the commitment, skills and character required to teach in a school with
high expectations of all

Have a passion for teaching and developing pupils and staff

Have good communication skills, excellent organisational skills and commitment to self-improvement
