We are a central fostering Team with two bases, one in Bedworth and one in Warwick. We have a dedicated connected person team and are expanding this to include offering support to families who have a Special Guardianship or Child Arrangement Order for a young person. We are also advertising for a lead team manager and a family support worker. It is a really exciting time and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to be involved in shaping this vital service, who can offer a high level of support and improve outcomes for children. 

The Role

The role will include direct work with carers and children, developing support groups, completing assessments of needs and applications to the SGO fund. The role will involve close working with children's teams to ensure support plans are robust, meaningful, delivered and reviewed. We are particularly keen to hear from social workers who have had experience of direct work with adults and/or young people. Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly and there will be some evening work and occasional weekend work facilitating training and activities.
