We are now looking for an experienced Area Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Compliance and Surveying Team. This is a fast-paced role with a broad spectrum of challenges, providing the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and get to grips with some fascinating projects.
Carrying out both design, specification, contract management and inspections of mechanical building services in Council establishments, you will be at the forefront of ensuring strict compliance with appropriate legislation.
Ideally, we would like you to be qualified to ONC/HNC standard in Mechanical Building Services
Engineering, and you will have comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge of engineering and mechanical installations. Your experience should include management of mechanical building services term contracts, and you will be adept in the specification and project management of schemes from concept through to completion.
On a day-to-day basis, you will carry out the design of mechanical services in which you will prepare specifications and obtain tenders, manage planned preventative maintenance and certify payments for work completed.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge under the guidance of the Senior Compliance Engineer, and remain abreast of industry standards and trends.
As a client-facing role, you will need strong interpersonal skills and experience of managing contracts and supervising contractors. If you are a proactive individual who has exceptional report-writing skills and you are able to administer a schedule of rates, then get in touch for your chance to be involved in our highly-skilled team.
