Templars’ is a friendly and welcoming school where all staff are valued and supported to reach their full potential. One of our teachers will be leaving us soon to study full time for a Masters Degree and so we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed superb teacher with high ambitions and excellent classroom practice to join us.

We are a good school (Ofsted 2017), where the whole team is committed to improving the life opportunities of all our pupils and staff, located in a modern building in the south west of the city. We have high aspirations for the children in our wonderfully diverse catchment area, our children are central to all we do.

“I completed my training year and NQT year at Templars and will be very sad to leave. Templars is a fantastic school to work in for many reasons. It is a school that works hard to develop you as a teacher. For example, there is a wealth of CPD on offer; I have had training from THRIVE, White Rose, Pivotal, Reading Rocks, and Target Tracker. Moreover, you are surrounded by experienced and supportive colleagues who I have personally learnt a lot from. The collaborative and cooperative ethos amongst the staff is fantastic. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by both the Assistant and Deputy Head during my two years at Templars. They are part of a strong leadership team for both the staff and students. It is an exciting time to be at Templars and there are lots of opportunities for development. The new, innovative curriculum engages staff and students in a child-led, holistic approach. Teachers are given autonomy to plan their topics as directed by their children’s curiosity and I found this aspect of the curriculum particularly rewarding.
