Job Details
We are now looking to recruit Support Worker for our Day Rota
Salary: £ 16,863 - £17,391 (pro rata)
1 x 20.75 hours per week
1 x 19 hours per week
Pershore Short Breaks is a Registered Respite Unit which provides short breaks for individuals with complex learning and physical disabilities. This can incorporate psychological, behavioural and emotional issues relating to their learning disability and mental health.
The service provides care and support to ensure Carers and families get regular breaks.
We pride ourselves on the care we provide which includes personal care, moving and handling, management of medication, dietary requirements, eating and drinking support and nutritional needs / meals. Access to the community and social activities. We also provide urgent unplanned care as required for carer breakdown or emergency situations.
Due to the nature of our service our main operational hours are from 4p.m through the night until 9:30a.m, Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day Saturday and Sunday.
This can incorporate unsociable working hours and shift work on a rota basis.
We have a strong team of experienced and knowledgeable staff who care about the well being of the individuals who attend here.
