HLTA Position – 27.5 hours a week
The Federation of Heathfields Infant and Wilnecote Junior provide education for children aged between 4-11 years and are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their happy, positive and rapidly developing team.
The post includes:
• working in conjunction with the teacher to prepare curriculum content and cover classes when needed including monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on pupil development, progress and attainment.
• supervising and supporting the development of a team of teaching assistants
• Establish productive working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
• Develop and implement pupil intervention programmes across Key Stage 2.
• Monitor and evaluate pupil responses to learning activities using a range of assessment and monitoring strategies against pre-determined learning objectives.
• Within the schools discipline policy, apply behaviour management strategies and techniques to manage behaviour constructively and contribute to purposeful learning environment.

Salary: Grade 7, Point 24 – 28 £22,401 - £25,463 fte
