Are you looking to work in a vibrant and exciting learning community where, through our work with our excellent students, we achieve outstanding results whilst also developing them as well-rounded individuals?

Are you looking to develop your skills as a teacher by learning from supportive and highly trained colleagues?

If the answer to both these questions is yes, then we are the school for you!

Higham Lane School is a leading secondary school within Warwickshire, both in terms of students’ results and through our support for other schools within our local area. We are a knowledge-focussed school where our teachers, as experts in their subjects, provide an outstanding learning experience for our students. As an Aspiring Teaching School, we are committed to the highest quality of professional development for our staff.

We have exciting opportunities for a newly-qualified or experienced teacher of Maths to join our high-performing Maths Department in September 2019 on a full-time or part-time basis.

We are looking to appoint a colleague who is qualified to teach Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. There may also be opportunities to teach Maths at Key Stage 5, although experience at Key Stage 5 is not an essential requirement for you to be shortlisted for these posts. Above all, we are seeking a colleague who is passionate about their subject, experts in the classroom and keen to develop and share their practice in a supportive environment.

A £1,000 recruitment award is available to outstanding applicants who are currently working towards qualified teacher status or newly qualified teachers though the School also continues to welcome applications from high quality, experienced teachers.

If you would like an informal chat or would like to visit our school to see our excellent students and staff at work, please contact Natalie Charnell, our Subject Leader for Maths on 024 7638 8123.

Please return completed applications to Victoria Reynolds at Higham Lane School by the designated closing date, via email: jobs@highamlaneschool.co.uk or in the post to: Victoria Reynolds, Higham Lane School, Shanklin Drive, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV10 0BJ

Higham Lane School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
