Assistant Cook
£8.10 per hour
The Directors of Christ the King Catholic Collegiate are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Assistant Cook with good all-round skills and a flexible approach to duties to join our CaterKing team.
Key tasks of the role include: food preparation and service, cooking of food, the operation of a cashless till system, and cleaning duties. The successful candidate would also be expected to cover for the Catering Supervisor occasionally.
Previous experience in an educational environment is preferred but not a requirement however, the ability to communicate easily with staff and students is essential. Knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen would be helpful however full training will be provided.
The successful applicant would be based at St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School but, may be asked to work at other schools across the MAC.
