We are recruiting Casual Catering Assistants to help grow and develop the Café Bar offer within the Brewhouse Arts Centre.

It is an exciting time for The Brewhouse as we continue to expand our offer to create a thriving Arts Centre in the heart of Burton upon Trent for the whole community. The Café Bar is an important part of our service and will be the key to us providing a quality service and a unique offer to those visiting Burton and The Brewhouse, whether to attend a meeting, to see a show, attend a workshop or to relax with friends over a cup of coffee.

In the role of Catering Assistant, the postholder will be responsible for serving drinks and clearing/cleaning duties.

The successful applicant should be:

- customer focused;

- calm under pressure;

- organised;

and should have good communication skills.

Experience of working in a busy catering environment and cash handling are essential.

A Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.

The role involves working at weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays when required.
