The Role

27.5 Hours per Week

We are looking to recruit a Site Services Officer for our ‘Outstanding’ School in Willenhall, Coventry. 
You will be enthusiastic and proud to be part of our ‘Outstanding’ school team. You must be a self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who enjoys working independently and as part of a team. You must have a critical eye and able to recognise and plan for building maintenance projects all year round. 
You will have sound knowledge of Health and Safety and be prepared to participate fully in regular Health and Safety inspections as an active member of the Health and Safety Committee. You will also be prepared to undertake a number of Health and Safety training courses periodically - ensuring all statutory Health and Safety records are kept up to date and in order. 
The role of Site Services Officer is diverse and includes painting and decorating, day to day maintenance repairs such as basic plumbing, changing light bulbs and taking deliveries, to bigger and more exciting projects such as the planning and execution of major refurbishments (along with the Headteacher and School Business Manager), and managing contractors on site.

The post is 27.5 hours per week comprising of a split shift 6.45am - 9.15 am and 3pm - 6pm Monday -Friday during term time with some flexibility during the school holidays.
