£16,394 - £16,863 pro rata and term time (The minimum pay with the Living Wage enhancement is £8.75 per hour)

Based at Kenrick, Anne Marie Howes and Perry Tree


Working 25 hours per week over 5 days including weekends and Bank Holidays




Birmingham City Council provides services for Citizens which delivers quality care in different ways.
The Department's three Care Centres are looking to recruit to several Catering and Facilities posts to support the busy residential and enablement services within the Centres.

To work in the Facilities Team undertaking duties such as cleaning, washing up, processing laundry including linen and personal clothing and general housekeeping tasks.
To support and contribute to other services within the Centres such as Business Support to achieve key objectives so that excellent customer care is delivered to Citizens, visitors and members of the public.

To adhere to safe working practices whilst carrying out duties in line with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and to follow specific cleaning schedules.
A flexible working approach with a willingness to support other services within the Centres to maintain a reliable, quality service.

Experience of working within a team to ensure that cleaning schedules are completed in line with Health and Safety procedures so that the environment is maintained to a quality standard.

A commitment to support the residential units and Business Support to cover gaps in service delivery.
