Specialist Music Instructor

£19.35 - £26.12 per hour depending on experience

 

 

Telford & Wrekin Music are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed musicians who would like to join our successful instrumental and vocal team and are particularly interested in hearing from tutors in the following areas – Vocal and Strings.

Our tutors need to be able to lead a range of activities from 1:1 and small group lessons to whole class instrumental teaching (first access/wider opportunities). 

We currently offer

  • Small group and individual instrumental and vocal lessons in schools
  • Whole-class instrumental programmes
  • Whole-class singing programmes
  • Rock Schools and ensembles
  • Classroom music teaching and curriculum support

Hours are offered in response to demand from parents and schools and some evening and weekend work may be required and the ability to travel efficiently around the borough is essential.

We are looking for musicians who have an ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship and are enthusiastic about inspiring children with a love of music.

A relevant music qualification and teaching experience are essential and a teaching qualification is desirable.
