10 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a 10 hour Visitor Services Assistant to join our busy café and shop team at The Market Hall Museum, Warwick. 
Serving locally sourced cakes, award winning coffee and a selection of carefully selected teas, our café offers a family friendly space for all our visitors. Our shop selling quality souvenirs, toys, local art works and gifts offers a unique shopping experience for visitors to Warwick and the Market Hall Museum.

The role is 2.5 hours per day from 12:00-14:30 Tuesday – Friday, with the option for additional hours to cover weekends, evening events, and colleague’s holidays on an ad hoc basis. 

 

Key Requirements

Our Visitor Services Assistants are the public face of Heritage & Culture Warwickshire. They are passionate about promoting the Museum and its services, motivated to achieve targets and have excellent customer service skills. 
Excellent communication skills and good levels of numeracy and literacy are essential to this role. Experience of delivering excellent customer service within a retail or café environment is desirable, but enthusiastic entry level applicants are also welcome to apply as all training will be given.
