£17,681 - £18,672 (pro rata)
Actual salary £16,725.27 - £17,662.70
35 Hours Per Week, 52 Weeks Per Year
Split Shift Working: Morning Shift - 6am to 9.30am and Afternoon Shift - 3.15pm to 6.45pm
Required to start as soon as possible

The Pope John XIII Catholic Multi Academy Company (MAC) Board of Directors, in partnership with the Holy Rosary Academy Committee, and the Archdiocese of Birmingham, wish to appoint a motivated, adaptable and experienced Caretaker to maintain and improve the academy building and grounds. Our excellent, hard working staff and pupils are looking for a Caretaker with a high calibre of DIY skills, excellent communication at all levels and good working knowledge of Health and Safety to join our team.

The successful candidate will:
- have a proven track record of managing a site or team, including a history of liaising with outside agencies, managing maintenance contracts within an understanding of budgetary controls
- be very flexible on working hours and be available outside of normal Academy times when required
- line manage cleaning staff including appraisal, performance monitoring, rotas and other management duties
- follow company policy and procedures to ensure the safeguarding, security and excellent education of our pupils is paramount
- liaise and work with other Caretakers and Estates Manager across the Multi Academy Company including relief key holding services and training for site staff
- provide cover across the other Academies within our Multi Academy Company whenever required
