Permanent Vacancy – Community Safety Plan & Business Intelligence Manager
Salary: Grade 10 (£38,052 to £40,858)
Hours: 37 hours (flexible working hours in operation).
Based at Service headquarters, Pirehill, Stone, Staffs, ST15 0BS
About the role:
To manage the development of the Corporate Safety Plan (CSP) / Integrated Risk Management Plan (IRMP) and to ensure that it delivers against the Staffordshire Commissioner Fire and Rescue Authorities’ Fire and Rescue Plan. The process must meet the statutory requirements of the Fire and Rescue Service Act 2004 and the Fire and Rescue National Framework for England, including the publication of the annual Statement of Assurance.
The post holder will manage, mentor, develop and lead the Business Intelligence department to ensure it offers a proactive and highly professional service to the organisation and that it meets and exceeds its overall objectives.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:-
• Ability to use intelligence and data to drive initiatives
• Working with a range of stakeholders to deliver key initiatives
• A good level of understanding of the statutory requirements of a Fire and Rescue Authority and Fire Service
• Degree level relevant qualification or equivalent experience
• Leadership and influencing skills
