KS2 TEACHER

Required for September 2019

NQT -  (£23,720 per annum)

 12 Month fixed term contract 

The governors are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic teacher who is sympathetic to the Catholic Ethos of the school to the post of Key Stage 2 teacher to help lead the future vision and development of this ‘working towards improving’ school (OFSTED May 2017).

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate newly qualified teacher to join our school. You will join a team of highly motivated, creative teachers and leaders who truly care about our children’s pastoral and academic development so that we make a difference to each one of them. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Be a practising Catholic or be able to support and contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of the school
  • Love of learning and dedication to their own professional development
  • Have high expectations of pupils and be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • The ability to monitor, analyse data
  • Have good organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative team-work and sharing best practice with others
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning in Key Stage 2
