£25,212 - £29,614 per annum (pay award pending)

Part time / 18.5 hours per week

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic occupational therapy assistant to join our North locality team within Adult Social Care.

Working with adults within the community, the successful applicant will provide person centred and holistic assessments to our Walsall residents.  You will be working within service-users homes across the community to deliver assessments.

You will experience a wide variety of cases in which you will support with activities of daily living that will facilitate individuals engagement. This may involve equipment provision, rehousing reports, completing minors works and Dfg referrals, access and low level manual handling assessments.

You will be responsible for completing assessments, reviews and follow up visits as necessary to support service-user requirements. You will be able to manage your own caseload with support from the Occupational Therapist, Social Workers and Social Care Facilitators within the team with input via our health colleagues as required.

You will also be part of the wider occupational therapy team linking in across the locality teams to support your development through joint CPD and OT training sessions.
