The Urgent Promoting Independence Service provides support to individuals who live in their own home. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is based at Wildwood, County Hall Campus. This service is provided across the whole of the county of Worcestershire and teams operate within specific areas.

We are looking to recruit a temporary Co-ordinator who will be responsible for planning the programs of work for Promoting Independence Assistants using our IT system (CM2000 and Frameworki). The aim of the service is to provide support to individuals so they can remain in their homes following hospital discharge or crisis intervention and, to observe during a period of assessment any on-going service requirements that would aid recovery.

The service is provided from 07.00 to 22.00 365 days a year. It is centrally managed through a Call Centre based in Worcester, which is open from 06.30 to 22.00. As a co-ordinator you would take part in the 8 week rolling rota which covers 7 day working.
