Group Leader - Disabled Children (Summer Play Scheme)

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Group Leader to support in the delivery of the Summer Play Scheme for Children and Young People with Additional and Complex Needs. The Play Scheme is based at The Bridge School for 5 weeks of the summer holiday including 1 week for training.

The successful applicants will supporting the Service Leader: Young People’s Services and Play Leader to deliver a training week, develop a positive proactive team and plan and deliver fun and exciting play opportunities for 3-16 year olds with additional and complex needs, ensuring all their needs are met including personal care and support during meal times.

The ideal applicant will have experience of working with children and young people in a similar setting and have an NVQ Level 3 or above Child Care or equivalent.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a team who are passionate about providing excellence in care and support for our customers, and you will be a key part of the team.
